FABTECH 2024 Preview: Laser bevel cutting machine to be demonstrated live
At FABTECH 2024 in booth S11085, Messer Cutting Systems will showcase its thermal cutting equipment, with live demonstrations of the Element 400 L unitized laser bevel cutting machine with the Bevel-S cutting head achieving precision cuts up to 45 degrees and C-axis rotation of +/- 540 degrees.
The system features the Global Connect control system and redesigned HMI OmniWin software that provides transparency on maintenance, downtime, and production metrics, all accessible via controller, PC, or tablet. It also offers advanced straight plasma cutting technology powered by Hypertherm’s XPR460 plasma system.
The company also will unveil the MetalMaster 3.0, a compact 5- by 10-ft. unitized cutting machine equipped with a downdraft table. With the Global Connect L control and an 18.5-in. touch screen, users can monitor production data digitally. Coupled with the Hypertherm XPR300XD plasma system, the machine delivers straight plasma cutting with enhanced capabilities, such as a 10 per cent increase in argon piercing thickness and nitrogen marking, the manufacturer states.
